The central dry zone land use planning methodology

Land Use Planning (LUP) is an iterative process involving stakeholders in a negotiated decision for the sustainable use of land resources. The bottom-up land use planning approach is carried out with the active participation of the concerned community of users of land resources whereas the Top-down approach focuses on the implementation of policies and government-fronted conservation strategies in Myanmar.
